LOT of 6 VINTAGE DAVE VAN RONK LP's

Dave Van Ronk, nicknamed "The Mayor Of MacDougal Street", was a major driving force in the early New York City folk scene, performing actively for more than 40 years, right up to his death in 2002.  He was both mentor and friend of legends Bob Dylan, Tom Paxton, Joni Mitchell, Phil Ochs, Suzanne Vega and Tom Waits.

All six LP's are ORIGINAL US pressings.  All feature stunning NM wax and play just a wee bit shy of "like new", with only traces of surface noise audible between some tracks and during a few quiet passages.  Some very light superficial paper scuffs / hairlines are visible under bright light but have no discernible impact on sound quality.  Super high gloss remains on all.  Labels are clean and bright, look "like new".

Jackets range from VG to NM-.  Seams and spines on some jackets show rub wear or dents but all are solid, with no splits.  (More details below.)

The most prized LP of this 6 LP lot, "Dave Van Ronk Sings", features the original "paper slick" jacket in NM- condition ... and includes its original 4-page paper insert of liner notes, in NM condition.  A real gem.

Note:  I've qualified for the "Top Rated Plus" seal from eBay, awarded to sellers who consistently deliver outstanding customer service.

Music is my passion.  I’ve been a collector for more than 50 years and have thousands of records in my personal collection, focused largely on 50’s and 60’s rock ‘n’ roll.  Recently retired, I look to downsize and sell select portions of my collection in hopes of financing future purchases of a few special pieces.

All records I offer are from my personal collection, each cleaned using my Nitty Gritty Record Cleaning Machine.

As I take great care to accurately describe my items, I do not accept returns unless my item description is incorrect.

All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.

International customers pay shipping costs and duties per the eBay Global Shipping Program guidelines.
