Record Grading The following relates to the condition of the vinyl playing surface, the condition of the label is shown on the photographs.
Mint minus. Could be in mint condition but has been played just to assess sound quality. Some records may have light scuff marks which are not audible. Typically have glossy vinyl. If the label is marked it is shown on the photograph.
Excellent. As above but has more surface marks and vinyl is not as glossy, no audible scratches or background noise.
Very Good Plus. Evidence of being played, surface scratches and evidence of some little background noise in places.
Very Good. Shows signs of wear, vinyl gloss diminished, surface scratches with some audible noise when played, typically suitable for dj-ing.
