Your records will be shipped with a protective clear plastic outer sleeve that you can keep to store, preserve, and protect your LP cover.  If your record includes the original inner sleeve, we will pack your vinyl in a separate heavy duty protective paper sleeve that will better protect your disc as well as prevent wear to your original inner sleeve.
All records are shipped using record mailers specifically made for this purpose; the package will also contain additional cardboard "stiffeners" to protect your album during shipment.
Just about all the vinyl we have grades at VG+ or VG using standards from the Goldmine grading guide and Ebay grading scale.  A VG+ record will sound fantastic, appear shiny, have few or no blemishes, and will have minimal surface noise.   The sleeve will look great and won't have any obvious flaws, though upon closer inspection you can see the normal wear from regular handling.  A VG record will also sound fantastic - the only real difference is you will hear light surface noise between songs and in quiet passages - but it is still a great listening experience.  It will also have some light blemishes and surface scratches.  The sleeve will look more worn, might have a slight "ring", or have light writing on it.  A VG sleeve may have a seam separation, just meaning that the glue has dried and it is separated - this is not a seam split and can easily be re-glued if you so desire.
We at least spot test all the records we sell - this is important, as even great looking shiny vinyl may reveal less than desirable sound characteristics when spun on the turntable.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions - we are also collectors and lovers of vinyl and are always interested in hearing from other collectors.
