Since records are delicate items, I can imagine you might be concerned about the condition in which they will arrive in the post. While I can't do anything about the handling of the items I post once they are out of my hands, I can do everything in my power to package them securely.
Here is how I package each record for you:
•Each component of album is taken apart to minimise potential for damage during transport
•They are placed on top of each other in this order:
•album cover
•insert sleeve
•plastic cover sleeve
•poster (if available)
•album
•Both sides of record are wiped with a microfibre cloth
•Record is wrapped in cling wrap
•Entire bundle is wrapped in bubble wrap, and taped securely with packing tape
•Bundle is packed between 2 pieces of corrugated cardboard (similar thickness to a pizza box) and taped securely with packing tape
•Bundle is wrapped in brown paper
•Packing label is taped securely to the outside of the package
•Package is lodged over the counter with Australia Post to activate tracking
