CONDITION DETAILS Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; very light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (generic white). Spine is easy-to-read (printed off-center) with very mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along right-edge, slightly heavier wear along bottom-edge with left side coming unglued. Some wear to corners. Top opening is crisp with signs of light use and a few divots. Red "12-logo" label. Poster not included. (Not a cut-out.)
ABOUT THE RECORD Every Picture Tells a Story by Rod Stewart, incorporates hard rock, folk, and blues styles went to number one on both the UK and US charts and finished third in the Jazz & Pop critics' poll for best album of 1971. It has been an enduring critical success, including a No. 172 ranking on Rolling Stone's 2003 list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. The title song is featured in Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City radio station Liberty Rock Radio 97.8. Reason to Believe was released as the first single from the album with Maggie May as the B-side, however, Maggie May became more popular and was a No. 1 hit in both the UK and US. Besides these two singles, two other singles were released: the title song and I Know I'm Losing You. Every Picture Tells a Story was certified Platinum by RIAA in the U.S. All five members of the Faces (with whom Stewart at that time was lead vocalist) appeared on the album, with guitarist/bassist Ronnie Wood and keyboardist Ian McLagan on Hammond B3 organ being most prominent.
