To determine the LP edition the Mikrokosmos Labelography is only ever used.

Records are dispatched in Padded Mailers with corrugated LP card stiffeners to prevent damage. If you require your records to be professionally cleaned (I use a Clearaudio Matrix machine), please inform me before shipment as there is a £1 charge per LP for this additional service.

Here is your chance to own the Original vinyl pressing produced before the original Master Tape had a chance to deteriorate.
Original pressings have the drive and excitement many later or new 'audiophile' pressings strive but often fail to achieve. They can sound rather dull and lifeless compared to the Original First Edition and Pressing. The Original label with the Original cover art work

PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ THE GRADING SYSTEM BELOW BEFORE BIDDING. THANK YOU

( RECORDS ARE USUALLY GRADED BY SIGHT ONLY . PLAY GRADED ONLY IF STATED )

Grading Level = +/-                                                  White = Vinyl Record & Blue = Cover

MINT (+/-): Only used when the record has never been played. The cover and packaging would normally be sealed or as new.

NEAR MINT (NM+/-): This is the top mark for USED LP's. The record looks in new condition and there are no surface marks. If play graded - no surface noise. The cover and packaging look new and are in near perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX+/-) : The record shows signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. It may possibly have a little light background surface noise, but with few pops or clicks and very few if any, hairline marks. The cover and packaging may have a small amount of shelf wear (possibly a little bit of laminate lift) and maybe a few extra items on the packaging, such as cellotape or pen ink etc. However, it will have no rips, cuts, splits or tears unless stated.

VERY GOOD (VG+/-) : The record shows sign of having been played many times, with perhaps a little deterioration in absolute sound quality, having a number of clicks and pops, with some background surface noise, noticeable surface marks and some hairline marks. Normal wear, with some soiling of the cover. It can include some laminate lift, cover opening cuts or splits and a few extra items on the packaging, such as cellotape or pen ink etc - but without any major defects.
GOOD (G+/-) : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deterioration. Usually with scratches and some distortion, it may even cause the stylus to jump or stick. As well as normal wear and tear, the cover and packaging will suffer from cuts and rips, folding, scuffing of edges, splits and extra items, probably with discoloration and/or soiling to the cover and packaging.
FAIR (F+/-) : The record is still just playable, but has considerable surface noise, distortion and scratches; it will most likely cause the stylus to jump and may even stick in places. The cover and packaging will suffer from major defects and will be torn, stained and / or defaced - my lowest grade possible.
