ABOUT THE RECORD The Rumour, by Olivia Newton-John, featured two singles: The Rumour and Can't We Talk It Over In Bed and peaked at No. 67 on Billboard 200. The title track was written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin and features backing vocals and piano by Elton John. This was also her first album not produced by longtime producer, John Farrar.
