Dub
Dub producers don't come much more influential than Lee Scratch Perry and The Upsetters, so the both of them facing off on record was always going to bring red hot results. And so it proved with "Battle Of Armagideon: Millionaire Liquidator" from 1986 on Trojan Records which featured all manner of keyboards, bass, alto sax, trombone and synth and rhythm work. The dubs here range from the psyched out and trippy, happy and feel good to the inventive and playful. It's a lively album that brims with character and ideas, all with Perry's iconic vocal work at the heart of all.
