This limited edition 7" box set is a special 40th anniversary reissue from Chrysalis. Compiled by Jerry Dammers, it's a treasure trove of his favourite singles from the label between 1979 and 1984 with standards from Madness, The Beat and Dammers' group, The Specials. From the horn led joy of "A Message To You Rudy" to the uptempo cover of "The Tears Of A Clown" via a bristling live version of The Specials' "The Guns Of Navarone", this is a fine overview of ska's golden age.
