Tango is the first studio album by Charly García together with the Argentine musician Pedro Aznar. Tango was reflected in a single Maxi, since with its six songs it exceeded the number of songs of a single, but it did not reach that of a long duration. The album was recorded at Secret Society and Unique Recording Studios in New York, USA, in December 1985, and mastered at Sterling Sound by Ted Jensen. All the instruments were played by Charly García and Pedro Aznar. The album was presented on March 29 at Paladium and was the opening kickoff of an extensive tour that would take Tango to 13 cities in the interior of the country. In addition to García and Aznar, the live group was completed by Fernando Múscolo on keyboards and Mario Serra on drums. The hit that would become a hit on the album would be "Hablando a tu corazón" by Charly.
