CONDITION DETAILS WHITE-LABEL PROMO, with gold promo stamp on back and promo text on label. HYPE, WHEN YOU PLAY IT SAY IT, and PRESSED ON HIGH AUDIOPHILE QUALITY VINYL stickers on front. Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing, tiny surface abrasions, and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (photos/lyrics/credits). Spine is mostly easy-to-read with mild-wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. ABOUT THE RECORD A New Flame, by Simply Red, was a huge success worldwide, becoming the band's first UK No. 1 album and certified 7x Platinum by the BPI for sales of 2,100,000 copies in the UK alone. The album was also certified Gold in the US by the RIAA. It features a cover of the song It's Only Love Doing Its Thing which is a track featured on Barry White's album The Man. They shortened title to It's Only Love. The Simply Red cover had its greatest success by charting at No. 1 in Italy. The song later features in several greatest-hits albums and a ballad collection of the same name, and it remains a live favorite. Elements from the song were sampled in 21 Questions by 50 Cent. In 2008, the song was featured on Grand Theft Auto IV's fictional soul/R&B radio station The Vibe 98.8.
