Alma & Vida is an Argentine jazz and rock band formed in 1970 in Buenos Aires, made up of Alberto Hualde (drums), Bernardo Baraj (saxophone), Carlos Mellino (keyboards and vocals), Carlos Villalba (bass), Juan Barrueco (guitar ) and Mario Salvador (trumpet). It is considered one of the most important bands in Argentine rock and the first to perform jazz fusion rock (also known as jazz fusion). They recorded five albums with many hits.
