CROSBY, STILLS & NASH "Self-Titled" LP Atlantic SD-8229
Original 1969 US pressing, with the classic green and red colored "1841 BROADWAY" labels, housed in the original textured gatefold jacket, to which is affixed a "Gold Record Award" sticker. A much sought after collectible indeed.
Includes the original folded lyrics insert, in fine condition. Small portions of the insert are missing but all the artwork and print remains clear. See photos to better understand the lyrics insert condition.
To verify this LP's vintage, note the matrix numbers hand etched in the dead wax :
Side One: ST-A-691575-B LW AT M X
Side Two: ST-A-691576-B LW AT M X
The wax is not in the superb condition characteristic of most of my offerings. Hence, the modest price tag. (This LP as an original US pressing in superb condition generally sells for $50 and up.) Despite its flaws, this LP is a wonderful listen and makes a fine addition to any collection given its rarity and fine sound.
VG wax plays well. No skips or drop offs. Paper scuffs and hairlines / scratches are present, some of which result in modest surface noise ("pops" and "clicks") audible between some tracks and during a few quiet passages. High gloss remains. Labels are clean and bright, look "like new".
Gorgeous textured jacket is NM-, nearly flawless. Front and back color photos and text are rich and clear. The name "Perry" is written in ink in small letters at the top of the inside gatefold area. (This gem was one of many wonderful LPs in a large collection of my friend Bob Perry, which I bought from him back in the mid 1980's.) Seams and spine are solid, with mere traces of rub wear. No splits.

My Profile / Policies:
Note: I've qualified for the "Top Rated Plus" seal from eBay, awarded to sellers who consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
Music is my passion. I’ve been a collector for more than 50 years and have thousands of records in my personal collection, focused largely on 50’s and 60’s rock ‘n’ roll. Recently retired, I look to downsize and sell select portions of my collection in hopes of financing future purchases of a few special pieces.
All records I offer are from my personal collection, each cleaned using my Nitty Gritty Record Cleaning Machine.
All are play graded (not just visually graded), using Goldmine Record Album guidelines.
As I take great care to accurately describe my items, I do not accept returns unless my item description is incorrect.
All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.
International customers pay shipping costs and duties per the eBay Global Shipping Program guidelines.
Payment expected within 2 business days of sale.
