"THE LOST BOYS"  ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK     LP       Atlantic  81767-1

First 1987 US (Specialty Records Corp.) pressing, with the classic Atlantic red and green labels.

A much sought after collectible.  Features performances by INXS, Lou Gramm (Foreigner), Roger Daltrey (The Who) and Echo & The Bunnymen.

The vintage of this LP is verified by the matrix numbers etched in the dead wax :

Side One:   ST-A-876425-A   1-1   SRC (Specialty Records Corp) logo    ATLANTIC STUDIOS DC

Side Two:   ST-A-876426-A   1-1   SCR (Specialty Records Corp) logo    ATLANTIC STUDIOS DC

This LP is not in the superb condition characteristic of most of my offerings.  Hence, the modest price tag for this highly sought after collectible.  (This LP as a first US pressing in superb condition generally sells for $50 and up.)  This copy is a fine addition to any collection given its rarity and fine sound.

VG wax.  Cosmetically flawed but plays very well, with only traces of surface noise audible between some tracks and during a few quiet passages.  Multiple light paper scuffs / hairlines / scratches present but have little or no impact on sound quality.  In short, this LP plays far better than it looks.  Nice high gloss remains.  Labels are slightly soiled but fully intact, with crystal clear print.

VG jacket.  Front and back color text and photos are rich, clear and bright.  Modest ring/rub wear.  Shallow creases at jacket edges.  Solid seams, with minor rub wear.  Spine is solid, with modest rub wear that obscures some of the spine print.  No splits.

Includes original Atlantic company inner sleeve, in EX condition.

My Profile / Policies:

Note:  I've qualified for the "Top Rated Plus" seal from eBay, awarded to sellers who consistently deliver outstanding customer service.

Music is my passion.  I’ve been a collector for more than 50 years and have thousands of records in my personal collection, focused largely on 50’s and 60’s rock ‘n’ roll.  Recently retired, I look to downsize and sell select portions of my collection in hopes of financing future purchases of a few special pieces.

All records I offer are from my personal collection, each cleaned using my Nitty Gritty Record Cleaning Machine.

All are play graded (not just visually graded), using Goldmine Record Album guidelines.

As I take great care to accurately describe my items, I do not accept returns unless my item description is incorrect.

All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.

International customers pay shipping costs and duties per the eBay Global Shipping Program guidelines.

Payment expected within 2 business days of sale.
