"Don Lucero is the ninth studio album by Luis Alberto Spinetta as a soloist and the 22nd in which he has a decisive participation. It was recorded and released in 1989. The cover is an original drawing made by Spinetta. It was chosen as the best of the year by the Annual Survey of the Sí Supplement of the Clarin newspaper, while the song ""Fina ropa blanca"" was considered the best of 1989. The song was also the only song from the album included by Spinetta in the historic recital of the Eternal Bands made in 2009. A few years before his death, Spinetta declared that Don Lucero and El valle interior were the albums he most liked of his own career. The interpreters are Spinetta (guitar, voice and programming), Juan Carlos ""Mono"" Fontana (keyboards), Horacio ""Chofi"" Faruolo (keyboards), Didi Gutman (keyboards), Guillermo Arrom (first guitar), Javier Malosetti (bass) and Jota Morelli (drums). It was presented on December 8 and 9, 1989 at the Obras Sanitarias Stadium."
