Tenor Solo 'Two Little Girls Loved Two Little Boys' Excelsior X2069 SS 10" 78rpm
Condition is "V+".
The International Record Company of Auburn, New York, whose name appears in tiny letters at the foot, began in 1905 to manufacture and distribute several record labels (Excelsior being one) in contravention of copyrights held by Columbia, who forced them out of business in 1907.
SHIPPING:
I am happy to combine purchases for shipping. When buying multiple items please use the eBay shopping cart. When finished please ask for a total. I will combine your purchases and send you an invoice.
To insure your record will arrive undamaged, we place it between two pieces of double-wall cardboard, then two pieces of 1" Expanded Polystyrene Foam, then place it in a heavy duty box.
The shipping charge includes the actual cost of USPS Media Mail to your address as well as the cost of packing materials, (which are $3.31.)
Shipping labels are printed through the ebay invoice system. We do not change the purchase price for Customs.
Tracking is not available for First Class and Priority Mail International.
Grade
Record
N
As new and unplayed (there are virtually no 78s that can categorically be claimed to be un-played).
E+
Plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets.
E
Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches.
E-
Still shiny but without the luster of a new record, few light scratches.
V+
V+ is an average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced.
V
Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.
V-
Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy graying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.
G+
Gray throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled. Heavy scratches.
G
Quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level is still higher than surface noise.
G-
Music still prominent, but wear and scratch damage extensive.
F
Most of music remains audible over surface noise, but listening now uncomfortable.
P
Unplayable.
