A few years back Kerri Chandler joined forces with Troy Denari to deliver "The Way It Goes", a superbly soulful club cut based on the legendary house producer's iconic 1993 workout "Track 1". Here it gets a new slant courtesy of Chris Stussy, a Dutch producer with releases on some of the world's most noted deep house labels to his name. Stussy makes great use of Denari's slick, soulful vocal on his A-side remix, which showcase some spacey, echoing synthesizer motifs and the most jazzy and squelchy synth-bass part known to man, woman or child. He toughens things up and raises the intensity a notch on the flipside dub mix, which naturally makes greater use of the spacey synth motifs and a few other tech-tinged musical flourishes.
