Ruedas de Metal is the debut album by the Argentine hard rock and heavy metal band Riff, released in 1981 by Tonodisc / ATC, then the ATC channel's record label. The album was recorded on 24 channels during the first half of 1981, and released in the middle of that year, introducing the heavy metal sound, novel for the Argentine rock scene of that time. The album and the band's proposal had great acceptance, placing Riff, led by Pappo, as one of the most popular rock groups in the country. A handful of promotional video clips were filmed for television, something new in Argentina in the early 80s.
