Here is a The Beatles 7" UK pressing single on Parlophone Records with catalogue number- 45-R 4983 It is titled Please Please Me with Ask Me Why on the b side and is from 1963.
It is a UK 1st Press with 7XCE 17217-1N / 7XCE 17218-1N matrix with MPT1 Stamper on side A and MPT2 stamper on side B. The disc has no Made in Great Britain at 3 o Clock on side A and it has Made in Great Britain at 3 o Clock on side B. It has Recording 1st Published 1963 on both sides. I have shown 11 photos for you to look at.They are taken without flash photography. If you run your mouse over the images to enlargen them. The disc looks visually very nice with nice lustre.Visually EX. The labels are very nice with just a few feint spindle trails-graded EX+. I have play tested it on my Thorens TD 160 Turntable as seen in photos and it plays beautifully with full clear punchy warm mono audio and it seperates lovely on my speakers. On side A it is play graded lovely and NM. On side B to be hyper critical i would say there is some very feint very light background in just a few places which is non obtrusive, its hard to hear it but it needs mentioning-so play graded EX+. I have tried playing side B on a lesser sensitive turntable set up and i can't hear any feint light background at all. The sleeve is EX Great chance to obtain this for your collection and it will certainly upgrade lots of copies out there for sure. I send Worldwide.
