The Argentine cumbia group Los Palmeras was nominated for “Best Tropical Group Album” for their album “Sean Eternos Los Palmeras”. On the other hand, they received the nomination for "Best Duet Song" for their participation in "Amor" with Marcela Moreno. Los Palmeras are representatives of the cumbia Santafesina-Argentina, a variant of cumbia originating in the province of Santa Fe.
