Comfort y Musica para volar is an album by the Argentine rock band Soda Stereo released on September 25, 1996. Considered one of Soda Stereo's most iconic records, the live songs on the album were recorded at Post Edge studios. of MTV in Miami, United States. In 2006, Al Edge magazine ranked it 15th among the 250 best albums in the history of Latin rock. The presentation had been originally intended to perform one of the classics MTV Unplugged (that is, with acoustic versions of the songs) and the American network had invited Soda Stereo for several years and repeatedly, however the band always refused. Finally in 1996 the band accepted, convincing the chain to be able to play with their instruments plugged in but orchestrating and modifying many of the classical versions, to make them slower and more musically complex. Even so, and in the same way, four songs were played acoustic, including the acoustic version of "Un missil en mi placard", which achieved great popularity, even greater than that of the original song. The band also invited the Colombian singer Andrea Echeverri, lead singer of Aterciopelados, as co-vocalist on the song "En la ciudad de la furia" (which was one of the modified versions). This album is a true jewel of one of the most transcendent bands in Latin America. 1Un misil en mi placard 2En la ciudad de la furia 3Entre canibales 4Pasos 5Zoom (mtv unplugged) 6Cuando pase el temblor (mtv unplugged) 7Te para 3 8Terapia de amor intensiva (mtv unplugged) 9Disco eterno (mtv unplugged) 10Angel electrico 11Ella uso mi cabeza como un revolver 12Paseando por roma (mtv unplugged) 13Genesis (mtv unplugged)
