I am the original owner and bought this brand new. I stored the vinyl separately in protective sleeves to preserve the integrity of the condition of the vinyl as well as the original black inner sleeves, then placed them into the book jacket where they’ve been since, never played.

The next time I ever looked at this after initially purchasing this was today to take pictures for this listing. I discovered that on side one of “Record One”, there are two circular blemishes (see pic). I concluded that these were caused from the vinyl being stored (in the protective sleeve) inside the book-jacket, but on top of the two, circular rubber center CD holders that keep the CDs in place (see the pic of the rubber circle where the CDs go). These marks appear to be merely superficial and don’t look like they will affect playback. However, I no longer have a turntable so I cannot say definitely. The marks basically look like fingerprints, but not sure if they can be cleaned off or not. I left it “as is”. Everything else is in excellent condition.

The vinyl is unplayed but still has the usual factory blemishes like some surface hazing, rub marks, and scuffs (caused from the vinyl rubbing up against the harsh factory paper sleeves). These types of marks really only become visible if you were to tilt the vinyl at just the right angle against strong light. In other words, the vinyl doesn’t look totally immaculate. Otherwise, the vinyl still has that new sheen to them.
