I bought this record when I was 17 and worked in a record store, Marty's Records, on Woodward Ave. in Birmingham, Michigan. It was like $11.98 then, which was expensive. The sound has a few scratches but no skips and the overall the sound quality is actually good (on my stereo). Maybe because it was in the first third of the pressing, according to the number stamped on the front.The cover is embossed "The BEATLES "- a wreck as you can see in the photos. Poster is torn on one of the folding edges and is fragile but whole and frame-able. disc 1 is marked SWBO-1-101-J59 #1, SWBO-X2-101-J50 #3 . disc 2 is marked SWBO-X3-101-58- #3. SWBO-X4-101 J48 #12
