Former Creedence Clearwater Revival singer John Fogerty released his first solo album in 1975. It didn't do so well, and he spent the next 10 or so fighting with his record company, as well as his old band members, and just being pretty much disgusted with the business in general. By 1985, all was well for Fogerty, and he released the biggest album of his career, and titled it 'Centerfield'. That title track, along with "Rock and Roll Girls" and "The Old Man Down the Road" put Fogerty back on the musical map once again! CCR had numerous hits, and Fogerty's voice was, (and still is), instantly recognizable. Hard to believe it's been over THIRTY FIVE years since that classic rock milestone was released!

In 2018, a special picture disc was released, and it commemorated that baseball smash hit, "Centerfield"! There's a hype sticker on the cover which proudly proclaims that song to be the only song inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame! And it looks like...what else...a baseball! STILL SEALED, and NEVER OPENED or PLAYED! The jacket is split about three inches on one side, and even a bit crinkled on the other side, but rest assured, your vinyl will be new, and in mint condition!

A very cool collectible, whether you're a fan of that great sport, a Creedence fan, or a John Fogerty fan. It looks nice, and it available at a great price! The A side is that classic track, and "Rock and Roll Girls, another big Fogerty hit, is on the B side! Knock this one out of the ballpark (sorry, couldn't resist) with the limited edition Fogerty "Centerfield" on a 12" picture disc!
