CONDITION DETAILS Still in ORIGINAL SHRINK-WRAP (opened), with HYPE-STICKER. 12" Single. Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Cover looks great; a couple creases near edges; slight discoloration and no scuffing (front/back); two sections of shrink missing near top-right on front. Inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine is unbroken, clean, and easy-to-read. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; minor wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD Sledgehammer hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart thanks, in part, to a popular and influential music video. It was Peter Gabriel's biggest hit in North America. The song's music video has won a number of awards, including a record nine MTV Awards at the 1987 MTV Video Music Awards, and Best British Video at the 1987 Brit Awards. Gabriel was also nominated for three Grammy Awards: Best Male Rock Vocal Performance, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year. Sledgehammer is the one of the most played music videos in the history of MTV.
