According to UK techno legend Anthony Child himself, The Bland Ambition EP draws on techniques and inspiration from his live creative processes over the last year and a half. A gradual process of evolution over the 24 years that he has been performing to a point where, as he says himself "it really can't be called Djing anymore." The raw essence of these performances are distilled into these four executions of sheer naked aggression. Released on Dynamic Tension, an outlet devoted entirely to Child's work under the Surgeon moniker, unlike his more well known Counterbalance imprint.
