Piel y Hueso is the fifth studio album by the Uruguayan rock / ska band, La Vela Puerca. It was released on October 27, 2011 in Uruguay and on October 28 in Argentina. It is a double disc that shows two different facets of the group. The first album consists of 12 songs and shows the more rocky side of the group while the other album that consists of 6 songs shows a more acoustic and quiet side. The songs on the records are composed mostly by Sebastián Teysera and Sebastian Cebreiro. The album was recorded and mastered by Julio Berta in the period May / August 2011. The recording was made in three different studios: Panda Studios in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Los Pinos in Sauce, Uruguay, and Sterling Soun in New York, United States. United.
