Tango is the first recorded studio album belonging to the Argentine rock singer-songwriter Jose Alberto Iglesias (Tanguito). It was recorded under the independent label Talent (Cassava's predecessor) in 1970 and released one year after the musician's death on May 19, 1972. In 1970 Tanguito agreed to record an album for Mandioca. Several dates had been booked at the TNT Studios on Moreno Street. In its rooms (very well equipped technologically for the time), records by Moris, Manal, Almendra and Vox Dei were produced. Tanguito was offered the possibility of choosing which musicians were to accompany him, and his decision was that Javier Martinez, Claudio Gabis and Alejandro Medina, all members of Manal, should do so.
