I am offering for sale a white label promo vinyl copy of John Cale - "Paris 1919" on Reprise MS 2131 which was issued in 1973. John Cale is best known for his early work with the Velvet Underground. Classically trained, he brought innovation and originality to that group, and has worked with numerous other musicians. As far as his solo work goes, I like his Reprise and Island LP's from the 1970's the best, and saw him in a small club in 1979.
The record has been play-checked on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Goldring 1042 cartridge. It plays near mint on side one and mint minus on side two. There is some spindle wear on the label. The record has been ultrasonically cleaned on my Klaudio KL - 200, the best cleaning machine around. The cover has moderate ring wear, which shows more since the cover is white. The original promo sticker is near the upper left side of the cover. There are no splits. Included is the original Reprise inner sleeve and a lyric sheet.
