2 Minutos, also known as 2 ', is a punk rock band, formed in 1987, in Valentin Alsina (Lanus) province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Due to the fact that most of its lyrics refer to topics classified as neighborhoods such as alcohol, crime, problems with the police, workers, street fights and football, it is considered a band identified with the subgenre oi! punk. 2 Minutos is considered the most important band of the Argentine punk scene. The Band was the first Argentine band that appeared at the legendary CBGB, in New York, where groups such as: The Ramones, Television and Patti Smith, among others, took their first steps.
