Cure Wish Vinyl Record LP Original UK First Pressing 1992 FIXH 20 A1/B1/C1/D1. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.

This double album record was bought by me from Acorn Records in Yeovil in 1992.

Only track on this vinyl to ever meet a stylus was side three track one - Friday I’m in Love. Don’t get me wrong, I like the Cure but I’m more into their slightly earlier wonky pop period

So, this is a chance to buy an original UK pressing of this record.

As noted above this record was only ever played for one track, and my playback testing shows up minor run-in groove surface noise on side 3, but apart from that this is verging on NM quality for all the other tracks so I’m listing this as a £125 VG+ rather than the £175 upwards VG+ on discogs.

This price reduction also reflects the fact that, as a nearly 30 year old double album, there is some ring wear to the cover (see photos) but this is, I would suggest much less than would be expected for an album of this period. The original insert sheet with details of other Fiction Records is also intact and included.

Finally, this LP has been in a non-PVC outer cover and the record itself in a replacement non-PVC inner sleeve for about ten years but these will be replaced with a new non-PVC outer sleeve by Big Fudge and a new Non-PVC inner sleeve from Covers33 after a pre-dispatch clean with Clear Vinyl solution.

The original card inner sleeves /bags are included and in VG+ condition and will be packed for dispatch alongside the replacement inner sleeve.
