La Renga is the fifth album recorded by the Argentine hard rock band La Renga. It was presented on November 27 and 28, 1998 at the Atlanta stadium. Usually the musical groups or soloists name their albums homonymously when it is considered that the work is a real or faithful representation of who the performing artist is, which is reflected in the definition mainly of sound that the band knew and wanted to reflect.
The album is characterized by hard-rock style compositions, more forceful distortions or crunch sound, which showed the rise and energetic power of the group. The song of greater diffusion of this album was "El revelde", which includes a video clip.
