A 18 'del Sol is the third solo album and 10th in which the Argentine musician Luis Alberto Spinetta has a decisive participation. It was released in 1977 by CBS. This album marked Spinetta's tenth record participation, either alone or with one of his bands. Despite its limited diffusion, it is one of the most sophisticated and high-quality works by "Flaco", being his closest album to jazz fusion, where the impeccable execution and virtuosity of Luis and his musicians stand out. The atmosphere of the album, somewhat removed from rock, is delicate and smooth. Spinetta's poetic style is clearly expressed on this album, whose lyrics, devoid of any allusion to the reality of the time, are timeless and profound.
