CONDITION DETAILS UK Import. 12" Single. Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Generic Casablanca cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing (front/back); discoloration spots on front. Inner-sleeve is plastic. Spine has no text and shows some wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use. (Bottom-left corner is cut.)

ABOUT THE RECORD Hot Stuff and Bad Girls, by Donna Summer, were the first two singles from her Bad Girls album. Up to that point, Summer had mainly been associated with disco songs but this song also showed a significant rock direction, including a guitar solo by ex-Doobie Brother and Steely Dan guitarist Jeff "Skunk" Baxter. Both songs reached number one on both the Billboard Hot 100, and the Dance chart. Hot Stuff won Summer the Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance in the inaugural year the award was given out. Both songs were produced by Summer's regular collaborators Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte.
