At the height of the pop revolution of the eighties in Argentina, a band new recorded her first studio album and surprised critics and audiences with your original proposal. The band was Los Fabulosos Cadillacs and the album is titled "Bares y Fondas". This was the debut album of a group whose history began in the summer of 1984 in the city of Mar del Plata and that two years later achieved record your songs. The album was recorded at Moebius Studios, with production by Daniel Melingo, recognized member of Los Twist in those years, and edited in August 1986. The result was a fresh album with a lyrical proposal and musical different from what was known until that moment. Songs like “Yo quiero morirme acá”, “Silencio hospital”, “Basta de llamarme así” and “Galápagos” they became classics of one of the flagship bands of the brand new Argentine rock and pop movement. Now, they can be heard with the best sound in this new vinyl version of an album that marked a milestone in the history of Argentine National rock.
