Azul is the fourth studio album by the Argentine rock band Los Piojos. It was recorded on Del Cielito Records during February and March 1998. After the hecatomb and the great succes that meant Tercer Arco, Los Piojos decided not to take too long to meet his successor. This is how Azul was born in early 1998. The idea of changing colors as the theme of each album continues to be present from Ay ay ay (red) and Tercer Arco (yellow). This work would deepen the rhythms of Rio de la Plata such as candombe and murga and would include paradigmatic themes in his career such as «Agua», «Desde lejos no se ve», «Y qué más» y «El balneario de los doctores crotos». The latter reached a high rotation in the television music networks throughout Latin America and led them to play for the first time in the Federal District and Guadalajara (Mexico) and to San Diego, Los Angeles and Miami (United States) with their Azulada tour Now, for the first time this fantastic album arrives in vinyl format with a great Limited Edition with Poster and Sticker as a gift.
