CONDITION DETAILS Import from Italy. Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing, tiny surface abrasions, and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (photos/lyrics/credits). Spine is mostly easy-to-read with wear. Minor shelf-wear along top-edge, heavier wear along bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and a couple divots. (Not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD But Seriously, the fourth solo studio album by English singer-songwriter Phil Collins, peaked at No. 1 in the U.S. and in a number of other countries, including the U.K. It was the best-selling album of 1990 in the UK. It has been certified 4x platinum in the U.S., 8X platinum in the U.K. and has sold tremendously well in other countries around the world. The tone of the album is serious, as the title suggests. Instead of focusing entirely on personal relationships, dark psychedelics, and simple fun, Collins expands his focus to the exploration of socioeconomic and political themes. There is great emotional turmoil underneath the polished studio production, and many of the songs are unambiguous and unveiled in their melancholy. Another Day in Paradise, which was released as the lead single and became the album's biggest international hit, is a sympathetic look at the plight of the homeless. The album also features a dramatic, gospel-influenced track, I Wish It Would Rain Down, which features Eric Clapton prominently on guitar and became one of the album's biggest hit singles. But Seriously spawned six singles total, five of which entered the top 40 with four in the top 5: Another Day in Paradise (No. 1), I Wish It Would Rain Down (No. 3), Do You Remember (No. 4), and Something Happened on the Way to Heaven (No. 4).
