1965 issue on US Hideout 1001, with the dark blue label: The Man In The Glass/Friday At The Hideout. This was the first 45 released on the famed Detroit label. The record was subsequently issued on Reprise for national distribution. The flip side, Friday At The Hideout, was alternately titled Judy Be Mine on another Hideout pressing.

The Man In The Glass was adapted/lifted from Dale Wimbrow's 1934 poem of that title, which was also used by Alcoholics Anonymous.

The Underdogs were based in the Detroit suburb of Grosse Pointe.

Record shows some wear but Man In The Glass plays a hair under near-mint. Friday At The Hideout plays VG+.
