La Biblia is the second studio album by the Argentine rock band Vox Dei, released in 1971. This double album is frequently considered a landmark of rock in Spanish and one of the first rock operas in Castilian. It appears in position 14 in the list of the 100 best albums of Argentine rock of Rolling Stone magazine. It was presented with four shows at the Alvear Theater in Buenos Aires, and a tour of the most important cities in Argentina, with Ignacio Smilari replacing rhythm guitarist Juan Carlos "Yodi" Godoy. The album would highlight two great successes of the group: "Genesis" and "Libros Sapienciales", both songs would manage to be among the 100 best songs of Argentine rock for Rolling Stone and Rock.com.ar, respectively. This work has been performed on numerous occasions by other artists, highlighting two versions directed by Billy Bond, one of them with the Buenos Aires Musical Ensemble and the other in Brazil.
