The White Stripes “The White Stripes”. U.S. 1st Pressing LP. 1999 Sympathy For The Record Industry SFTRI577. NEW FACTORY SEALED. Out of print.
These first pressings have a lighter, grey-colored tone on the filmstrip graphic on the front cover. Later repressings have a darker, black filmstrip.
No seam-splits, rips, or tears to the LP Jacket. Really crisp corners with just the tiniest “bumps” to some which are very minor. If tilting the front cover at an angle against direct sunlight, a small line crease becomes visible at the bottom portion of the front cover. It’s a little less than 1” inch and basically disappears into the red color under normal lighting conditions. Please see the last two pictures of this spot (one showing the crease, and the other of that same spot where the crease disappears under normal lighting).
