In April 1990, the Argentine band Rata Blanca would enter history of Latin heavy metal with the release of the album “Magos, Espadas y Rosas”. The album became a sales success, obtaining the Gold and Platinum Record certifications, selling through the years million copies and being the best-selling national metal album of the history. Now, Universal Music releases the remastered edition of the album with two vinyl, including two new instrumental tracks. Magos, Espadas y Rosas originally contained 9 songs, among which stand out “La leyenda del hada y el mago”, and the epic “Mujer amante”. This last, perfect in its conception of Power Ballad, it became a success massive that led Rata Blanca to transcend the boundaries of gender metal. The striking skill of guitarist Walter Giardino and the versatility of the singer Adrián Barilari made Rata Blanca a one-of-a-kind band. Magos, Espadas y Rosas was not only a success in Argentina, it expanded the popularity of the band to Latin America and Spain.
