Ella Fitzgerald sings the Johnny Mercer Songbook arranged and conducted by Nelson Riddle
Speakers Corner 180g reissue of Verve V6-4067
There's some sort of residue on side 1 affecting the first two songs. I'm not sure what it is but it came that way from the factory; it doesn't appear to be the normal dust or grime. I've tried cleaning with a soft cloth and distilled water but without success. If you have a vacuum machine to clean your records, you might be able to remove it. I don't want to damage the record so just left it alone. Adjust your tracking and it will play through. This only affects a few seconds in the first two songs on side 1. I downgraded the condition to Excellent as a result; the rest of the record is NM. The jacket is still in shrink wrap.
Oh, I almost forgot: This is one of Ella's best Songbooks.

I'm happy to combine shipping. Purchase two or more and request an invoice.
My hearing isn't as good as it used to be; it's time to let someone else enjoy these records while they're in great shape. Original owner selling around 200 used audiophile records. Most have been played no more than 2-3 times. Anything played more often is not for sale (yet). Any flaw I’m aware of is noted in the description.
Check my other items often and fill the gaps in your collection!
Coming soon: more 180-200g records from Alto, Analogue Productions, Cisco, Classic Records, King Super Analogue, Reference Recordings, Speakers Corner, Testament. I'll list a few each week until they're gone.
Coming in 2022: lots of used classical vinyl and CDs.
