THIS IS A VERY GOOD+ EARLY EXAMPLE OF THE 1966 BEATLES CLASSIC, REVOLVER, REGARDED BY MANY BEATLES FANS AS THEIR FINEST ALBUM. IT IS A SECOND PRESSING AFTER THE INITIAL RUN WAS STOPPED IN THE FIRST PHASE OF PRODUCTION TO SUBSTITUTE A DIFFERENT MIX OF "TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS". ALTHOUGH NOT AS RARE AS THE FIRST RUN (XEX 606-1) THIS VERSION IS THE ONE THE BEATLES WANTED RELEASED.

VINYL: VERY GOOD+ VISUALLY THERE ARE ONE OR TWO SUPERFICIAL HAIRLINE MARKS WHICH PREVENT A HIGHER GRADE BUT THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT ON THE AUDIO WHICH IS CLOSE TO EXCELLENT THROUGHOUT.
THE HEAVWEIGHT SIXTIES DEEP-GROOVE VINYL STILL DELIVERS PUNCHY LOUD AUDIO WITHOUT SIGNIFICANT BACKGROUND NOISE, SKIPS, OR STICKS. THERE ARE NO LOUD CLICKS OR POPS, AND THE GLOSSY VINYL STILL DELIVERS REALLY EXCELLENT AUDIO. THE ONLY MINOR FAULT IS A VERY LIGHT CLICK ON "HERE THERE AND EVERYWHERE" BUT IT IS NOT INTRUSIVE.

LABELS:
YELLOW AND BLACK PARLOPHONE LABELS, WITH "SOLD IN THE UK"AND "THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY" TEXT, KT TAX STAMP ON SIDE ONE. NO WRITING OR MARKS.
"DR ROBERT" TRACK LISTING ON BOTH LABEL AND SLEEVE.

OUTER COVER:
VERY GOOD+
GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE, FRONT-LAMINATED "PATENTS PENDING" SLEEVE WITH FLIPBACKS. OVERALL BOTH FRONT AND BACK ARE CLEAN WITH NO SERIOUS CREASING, WRITING OR MARKS. THE SPINE IS INTACT AND FULLY READABLE. "DR ROBERT" TRACK LISTING ON REAR COVER.

INNER SLEEVE: BRAND NEW POLY LINED WHITE PAPER.

THIS IS A VERY GOOD+ COPY OF A HIGHLY COLLECTABLE SIXTIES CLASSIC WHICH SHOULD BE IN EVERY GOOD RECORD COLLECTION.
