2 Minutos, also known as 2 ', is a punk rock band, formed in 1987, in Valentin Alsina (Lanus) province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Valentín Alsina, is the title of the first album by the Argentine punk band Dos Minutos, considered one of the greatest classics in the history of Argentine punk, along with Y Ahora que pasa, eh? from Los Violadores, El Cielo Puede Esperar from Attaque 77, Si el Placer es un Pecado... Bienvenidos al Infierno from Flema, among others. The title refers to the city of birth of the original members of the band, Valentín Alsina is in the Lanús district of Gran Buenos Aires. The first song, the album's namesake, explains the social reality from which the band emerged. This album was released in 1994. With urban and working-class themes in their lyrics, they highlight the daily life of the worker, the people in bars, the street and the city reality in the Buenos Aires suburbs of the 90s, which is still in force today, converting this album is a timeless classic of Argentine rock. Among its themes are punk classics such as "Ya no sos Igual" dedicated to a well-known kiosk of the band that, as alluded to in the lyrics of the song, was a policeman, "Canción de amor" that talks about the typical beer of Argentine liter, "Amor Suicida" about the consequences of the Malvinas war, "Novedades" about the manipulation of the press and "Pelea Callejera" that deals with gang fights in the neighborhoods.
