DESCRIPTION

The March Violets - “Natural History” Rebirth Records (UK) VRB 25 (Stereo) from 1984. Hard to find Original UK Anthology / Compilation of 45s and BBC Peel Session recordings by this great early Goth / New Wave / Alternative / Indie band from Leeds (also home to The Sisters of Mercy). In the Original Cover with a Hype Sticker. Includes the folded 23” x 11” “One Zillion Dollar Bill” Poster with Lyrics on the inside. No Cutouts, Promo Markings or Barcode.

CONDITION

The Sleeve is in nice shape. There is some fairly slight shelf wear and corner softening/dinging/wear. There is a soft crease in the lower right corner and another in the upper right on back. Still super solid with no splits, tears, writing, cutouts, stains, etc. and I would rate it as at least a good VG if not VG+. The Vinyl is in clean Glossy condition looking lightly played. If you look closely you can find a few light scuffs and faint hairlines. VG+ or better visually and plays pretty much perfectly Near Mint all through. The labels are Near Mint as is the Poster.

Records are graded to the best of my ability to Goldmine Visual standards. I provide Play Grades as a courtesy but only guarantee the Visual Grade. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding. I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words:
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
