Endgame is the name of the twelfth album by the thrash metal band, Megadeth, which has been released  on September 15, 2009 for the United States. At the end of 2008, Dave Mustaine declared that Megadeth was working on the album and that it would be 13 songs, plus an instrumental. The album is fast, it is heavy, you will hear me singing, shouting, talking ... declared Mustaine. This would also be Megadeth's first album with Chris Broderick since Glen Drover's departure. According to statements by Dave Mustaine himself, the album is very fast and heavy and with great solos. He also stated that it is the best album released to date since Rust In Peace released in 1990. On May 19, 2009 Megadeth finished recording the album. On September 10 the full album was posted on the MySpace page and on September 11 the video for the first single "Head Crusher" was released. The song "Head Crusher" was nominated for a Grammy Award in the "Best Metal Performance" category. This is Megadeth's eighth appointment in a nineteen-year career. The song This Day We Fight! appears in the game Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock.
