Serú Girán is the self-titled debut album by Argentine rock supergroup Serú Girán, released in 1978. It was produced by musician Billy Bond, and recorded between the United States and Brazil. The album features the songs "Serú Girán", "Seminare" and "Eiti-Leda", which became classics of Argentine rock. It represented a turning point for the genre in the country, given the complexity of the compositions (mostly by Charly García), and the exploration with diversity of rhythms and musical styles, such as progressive rock and jazz fusion, as well as unusual use of synths and orchestral symphonies. Over time the album has been cited as a major influence on artists and bands in later years!!!
