DESCRIPTION

Shelley Fabares - “Shelley!” Colpix Records CP 426 (Mono). Hard to find reissue of this great Teen Pop / Rock ’N’ Roll album from Shelley Fabares (of The Donna Reed Show!). Arranged and Produced by Stu Phillips and with a guest Vocal by Paul Petersen on one song. This is a later reissue the date of which I do not know but is pretty much identical to the Original. In the Original Cover with No Cutouts, Promo markings or Barcode.

CONDITION

The Sleeve is in great shape. Basically like New but with a touch of corner softening and a super light crease along the opening edge and a price tag on back - should be easily removable. Super solid with no splits, stains, tears, writing, etc. and would rate at least EX and maybe even Near Mint. The Vinyl is in clean Glossy condition looking lightly played. If you look closely you can spot some light scuffs and faint hairlines - no actual scratches i.e. something you can feel with a fingernail. VG+ visually but plays pretty much perfectly Near Mint all through with maybe one or two spots of faint groove noise that might just need a better cleaning than I can give with my Discwasher brush. The Labels are Near Mint.

TERMS AND DEFINITIONS

Records are graded to the best of my ability to Goldmine Visual standards. I provide Play Grades as a courtesy but only guarantee the Visual Grade. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding. I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words:

Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
