The Beatles “Yellow Submarinel” Original 1969 U.S. Pressing LP. Amazing, rare time capsule copy that is still FACTORY SEALED in original shrinkwrap. Capitol Records SW 153. Stereo.

LP Jacket has no seam-splits, rips or tears. Corners have just the slightest hints of crinkling on a few. Spine and edges are crisp with clearly legible text. Near pristine cover on this. It looks as though it is new in a record store in 1969. Quite stunning and you will be hard pressed to ever find another copy in as exemplary condition such as this. All the brilliant white color has defied the ravages of time and is as bright as new. Please note: any marks that you see of the front/back cover that appear to be scratches and scuffs are just on the shrinkwrap itself and not on the actual LP cover.

This is one of the early 1969 pressings. I cannot state which specific plant the vinyl was pressed at (Los Angeles, Jacksonville, Scranton, etc.) since that information can only be determined by the matrix stamps on the actual vinyl.

- The small text along the bottom edge of the back cover has the following information: “Manufactured by Capitol Records, Inc., a subsidiary of Capitol Industries, Inc. Factories: Scranton, PA, Los Angeles, CALIF, Jacksonville, ILL. Printed in U.S.A.”

- Text on upper right portion of back cover is “SW 153 STEREO Playable on Stereo & Mono phonographs.

- Small “RIAA” Member stamp seal printed on lower right portion of back cover.

- Small “Printed in U.S.A” encircled stamp on lower left corner of back cover.

- Text on upper right portion of the front cover has “Selections by the Beatles plus original film music”

- Text on left side of the front cover has an encircled “C” and the following text below: “King Features Syndicate Subafilms LTD 1968

- Text on spine is: The Beatles Yellow Submarine; Stereophonic; Capitol; SW 153. Note: “Stereophonic” text is within the black box background.
