Epitaph Records are on a reissuing roll, focusing their efforts on Every Time I Die and their smorgasboard of metalcore albums released since 2000. A later effort from their discography, 'Low Teens' is a thrashingly transcendent work compared to earlier projects like 'Ex Lives', delivering a greater sense of emotion than their earlier straight-up punk splurges. 'C++' and 'Two Summers' are cases in point. Since the winter months that preceded the album's recordings were "in the low teens... bitterly cold", according to frontman Keith Buckley - whose wife endured a life-threatening pregnancy complication at the time - we're in no state of surprise at this one's permafrost-thawing anger.
